I have tried so many cosmetic and skin care brands out there, non-toxic/natural/pure oils/conventional you name it!
I have finally met my match (in a good way!) with @beautycounter! I have been trying a lot of products from them – thanks to the Holiday Gift sets! -And I have yet to find one I don’t love!
From the Charcoal Cleansing Bar to the Necessary Neutrals Eye Shadow Palette, everything I have tried so far has been effective, easy to use, soothing and fun to use!
So! I am going to give you all a step-by-step review and tutorial on all the products I currently use at night!
Not actually a BC product atm, but I would love to try their cleansing balm soon! Right now I use plain ol’ almond oil to remove my makeup with a reusable cotton round.
Quickly lather up the Charcoal Cleansing Bar in my hands and massage into face and neck for about 30-60 seconds and rinse with warm water. This bar gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Some days I use either the Overnight Resurfacing Peel (LOVE!) or spot treat with the SOS Acne Spot Treatment
The peel gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for sure but would get more if it could! Amazing! The acne treatment is worth the buy but it works just about as well as any other the only difference being it doesn’t dry out or irritate my skin!
MOISTURIZE! If I have learned one steadfast rule over the years its that all skin types need some kind of moisturizer after being cleansed! I used to think that because my skin was “oily” I didn’t need to moisturize, and at the same time couldn’t figure out why I had dry patches and eczema! Duh Liseanne! 🙄
So right now I use the #3 Balancing Oil (about 4 drops), I let it absorb then apply the Countermatch Adaptive Moisturizer over top. After that is all done I apply a thin layer of the Peppermint Lip Conditioner (best ever!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for both! Love the Countermatch moisturizer, thought it was all hype, but it’s actually that good!
All done! ✅
It’s a simple, yet luxurious routine that takes less than 10 minutes!
